Until now I've had no issues with dealer support. The dealer does not have another 3316 on the lot and as I understand it this is a new type of cylinder? Are there other models that the cylinders would interchange on? I am still scratching my head as to what's going on. I know the dealer has even been in touch with KMW to get the cylinder, but still no cylinder. I'm not in such a hurry on the 6000, but I really need that 3316 backhoe for this building project.

The 2815 and 3215 all have the same cylinders.
If this gets really bad I have one on a tractor on my lot I will take it off for you if needed.
Tell your dealer to get with his Mahindra rep and have them locate one on a dealers shelf.
I am going to check for you tomorrow to see if I have one on my shelf.

I'm starting to get upset. Yesterday the dealer was supposed to return my call about the cylinder and the call never came. They explained they had been away for a week and their parts person was off, but they would call her at home to get the status and call me back. Today I am told that a repair kit is on the way for my cylinder and they will call me with the tracking number. I have spent over $100,000 (3 new tractors, new roller, new disc mower, new rake, new tedder, and a bunch more implements) with this dealer and now I'm going to get a repaired cylinder that's all scratched up because their mechanic put it in a vice to try to get it apart? Hopefully not!
I just want to be able to use the tractor I paid $25000 for!

Evidently the repair kit arrived today, but the ring needed to disassemble the cylinder was missing, or broken.
Now I'm told they are shipping a whole cylinder again!

I have a cylinder in stock also, most dealers should have one I'd think. For my customers, I'd just rob it off a new loader and backfill that loader a few days later.

Wow, it sucks to have one tractor down. Two new tractors down would drive me crazy. Three tractors down and poor service on top of that would have me contemplating changing brands. Even if they can't fix your tractor at least they could give you a loaner or try to help you somehow.

I remember the first year I had my TN. It was the first (and still) only new tractor I ever bought and that first year it kept giving me trouble. I was swearing by the end of that year but since then it has been a great tractor. I just had to get the bugs worked out. Hopefully you will have the same experience and after this experience it is all uphill.

He will be running today. It sucks that it took this long for sure. I will let Joel share his thoughts now. I am not going to put words into his mouth about this whole situation.

Dave,
I think the dealer would have robbed a cylinder if he had one. Somewhere back there Joel said that the dealer did not have another tractor with a ML111 in stock.

Thanks to everybody! Picked up my new cylinder this afternoon and installed it. Everything is back to normal. Gonna jump right on it in the morning and start getting the ditches dug for the chicken house water lines.
I think the reason it took so long for me to get the cylinder is the dealer and his wife were away for a week.
Got a phone call this morning from Mahindra apoligizing for the delay and letting me know they were commited to the customer!

Oh and Mr. Mahindra service rep. for my area, if you're reading this, sorry you cut your finger on my cylinder!
