I have a 4110 Deere that has been stating great and running great. Last time I ran it was about a month ago. Never have had any issues with it starting. I went to use the tractor the other day and the battery was dead. Tractor would only click when trying to start. I jumped it with my booster pack and it started and ran well. Started mowing and after a little while the tractor stalled and wouldn't start again so I got the booster pack again. Once again the tractor started right up, but when I put the tractor in gear it immediately stalled again, I boosted it once again and this time tried to engage the PTO and the tractor immediately shutdown again. I tried to start the tractor again and this time I had no electrical on the tractor at all so I figured that there was a dead short in the battery.
I towed the tractor back up to the garage and I went out and purchased a new battery. I installed the new battery but all electrical on the tractor is still dead, there is no power to the key switch, no lights on the dash at all, no power to the fuses but the battery is good and fully charged. Any ideas?

Check the battery cables for continuity, there must be a broken wire or loose connection somewhere.

Positive battery cable is good to the starter and ground cable is good to the frame.

How do you know? Visual test or test with a voltmeter? What is the voltage on the new battery?

+1 How do you know they are good? Clean both ends of both cables then try it again.

I looked at the parts sheet and didn't see a fusible link but looks like a in-line slow-blow fuse. Trace the power from the lug on the starter towards the key switch/fuse box.

I recently had a similar issue with my 4400. Had power to everything and as soon as I tried to crank the motor it would cut out. I ended up replacing the battery post terminals and it solved the issue.

Crazy thing was the old terminal posts were tight and clean but must not have had current to crank the starter.
