Today, we opened the to an all-new classified ad section!

The new system offers many new features, such as...

- "Today's Featured Ads" showing you great equipment at great prices!

- Choose a 30, 60, or 90-day ad term!
- Feature your ad on the TractorByNet.com Classifieds Home Page for better exposure!
- Display your image in search results! (More clicks to your ad!)
- Add a FREE image slide show to your ad!
- Select the "Make Offer" option if you're flexible on the price!

Plus, for dealers and sellers of multiple items...

- Manage ads easier than ever! Now you can "close" ads without removing them, so you can easily re-open the ad if needed.
- Easily view and edit current items for sale.
- Manage all e-mails from buyers through TractorByNet.com!

Plus, we have a completely new ad posting system that lets you change font sizes, add bold and colored fonts, add links and pictures, all through an easy-to-use on-screen editor.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to import old accounts---if you were registered you should have receieved a notice with instructions to re-register.

I miss the what's new section...........It saved a lot of time searching the classifieds..........Is there going to be a similar feature in the new format ?? Or blue #'s next to the catagories to show users new activity since their last visit ?? (similar to the new posts feature in the discussions section )...........Just wondering..............TOM

Yes, you can get that by viewing a listing of all ads... go to Browse Ads then click on Main in the category navigation. You'll get this page. Ads are listed with newest at the top (for both regular and featured).

Maybe I'll just add it as a link for quick access.

Hi Muhammad,

I must be missing something. When I click on browse I go here: Browse but I don't see a "Main" under categories. If I click on a category I then see "Main" and can go back to it.

Where should I be looking?

oops, you're right. You have to get into a category first (Tractors or Attachments, for example) and then you'll see Main > Tractors below 4 Item(s) Found ...

I'm going to add the "New Ads" link soon.

Hi Muhammad

The following is a list of emails that I received regarding an item (snowblower) that I have listed for sale. I received each email at my normal email address "andyma@charter.net" and also saw then on the classified board. In no case, including the 2 I sent myself as a test did I receive any body to any message. This problem exists both when you read then from the board as well as in th email sent to your address.

I really appreciate the board, but it is really difficult to sell anything when no message text is received. Also is the feature to search users profiles going to come back soon. I've tried to locate some of the people who send me inquiries, but without the search function that has also proved impossible.

Andy,

I fixed this bug... all future messages will come through.

In the mean time, I would suggest simply replying to the messages through the classified system and mentioning that you didn't get the original message.
