We first looked at these "wireless" cameras for the barn when our foal was due Memorial Day. Now I see the many who post here who might want to watch their tractors during dinner hours or anytime. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Here is one that can be mounted on the non-sloping nose tractor to see the loader. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Check out the trailer cam. http://www.huntercreekvideo.com/
Another online vendor of wireless cameras. http://www.mat-co.com/
and another http://www.supercircuits.com/

These are serious toys with many uses. They can connect to a computer with video capture capabilities.
One person accesses his vacation home thru a remote computer to check whats going on. Cool! /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

At work we install alot of backup cameras these cameras come on when the moterhome is put in reverse or can be left on all the time if your towing a car behind your moterhome.

Most of the cameras are not wireless that we install, they have a wire going from the camera to the monitor and alot of the cameras are two position. They can be used for a straight down look behind the moterhome or flipped up so you can see further back behind the moterhome.

The wireless cameras are usually installed on trailers for backing up. Or also in trailers to keep an eye on the horses while traveling. On one horse trailer we installed a total of four cameras this man has too much money we also took and customized a racetrailer with complete living quarters and full bath with heat. I was on that job for over three weeks until I completed it. Turned out real nice if I must say so myself. The hired hands stayed in the trailer and the owners stayed in the tractor that we customized with complete living quarters that job was a month. Both were good winter time jobs.

This man hauled horses in one trailer and the wagons in the other for horse shows. The tractor hauled the horses and a Ford duelly to haul the wagons.

Hawgee,For anyone that likes the idea try checking out (X10.com) they have a color cam with sound and a range of 100-150' (don't hold me to 150') at like the other it is 2.4Ghz..Catch is it is only $80..One of my co-workers bought one for his daughter and grand yungin...It has rca out put to hook to a vcr or tv..It works purty well and has a nice image...and comes with power supplies for both transmitter and receiver...
Granted it doesn't have the 300' range or more but for those of us(with fewer acres) that have or plan to have a barn or work shop closer to the house it would be /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif.
