I have a
G1900-S, think I bought it in '97. Has a little over 1200 hours on it and absolutely no problems. I have a 60" deck on mine and the only problem I've ever had is remembering how quick it steers and trying to avoid getting hi-centered on the edge of the deck, since it sticks out about 6" on each side.
Only thing ever replaced on this machine has been blades, no belts, no nuthin else. Just keep it greased up good and it'll last forever.
By the way, before I ended up with this machine, I had a
G1800-s with a 48" deck, then bought a
G1900-S a 54" before I ended up with this one.
I'm just sorry they don't still make them.
