Price Check Allis Chalmers 160 Price Check

Any comments on an Allis Chalmers 160 (1975 [yr], 40hp gross) with FEL, R1s, canopy and 3200 hours for $2900?

The current owner is a professional mechanic and has kept it well-maintained, although it is a little rough and rusty from being out in the elements for some time. The owner says there are no problems with the tractor, so I imagine the rust is pretty much surface stuff.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

That tractor was built in France by Renault with a Perkins engine. I think 1974 was the last year for them. Nice little utility tractor with 40 pto horsepower. If the tractor is in decent shape all the way around,the price is good.
