allis chalmers 5030 will not start

I'm sorry to hear this; I'm afraid you've broken or damaged something inside the engine. Ether on these little engines is really dangerous. How much did you spray?

I didnt spray much just a quick one and didnt give it anymore. im afraid she might be toast as well.

G'day if it stopped dead when you sprayed the ether in then your cranking speed is not fast enough either battery, starter or leads as soundguy said give it a tug start.

a real bad knock ! it took a couple runs around the yard to get it going but it did start. and lots of white smoke coming out of the oil fill cap. its tear down time.

well the top end isall apart and it looks good. having an issue gettin the oilpan off tho. front end comes off now it looks like i gotta pull the blok off from the top. is it even possible that the pan and tranny are one? calling it a night anyway
