allis \'g\' footrest

Well, it was a tad cold to do much tractor work yesterday.. though did manage to touch up paint the fenders on my 660 where I scratched them with the jack.. after that i went in to the shop and decided to make a 2nd foot rest for my allis -g. It only had one.. but could accomadate 2.. I just havn't seen them anywhere. here is what a couple hours of plasma cutter, frinder, torch, hammer and drill time produced. I'll glue it together this am if'n the misses lets me play in the shop some more. For those of you that own 'G's... give me your opinion. I think this one looks fairly close to oem??

"Too cold," You're in Florida, come up here where ice is on the ground and not from empting your drink cup. Too cold up here means the ground is frozen for a few inches.

Just kidding, is the "G" the one where the engine sits in the back?

That's one cool looking tractor.
Looks like what I need to mow my yard with.

I need to make a step for my 8n to help climb up on it.
Either that or I need to get in better shape.
I think making a step would be easier tho.

Nice looking unit, These tractors were also great to cultivate row crops.--Ken Sweet

The tractor's in ++ condition. the mower is functional.. but needs attention. I think I'm going to drop it and finish the allis restoration.. then get back to the mower. It will need some welding done on it to replace a deck panel... but it is otherwise good.. all bearings and spindles good.. orc and blade carrier good. It's a woods mower.. just a tad old.

In the mean time I'd love to find some cultivators to add to the tractor for show purposes.. and then for later use in a vegitable garden.. etc.

I know where there is one sitting in a fencerow just rusting away and I think it has the cultivators on it, but the owner is a PITA and probably won't get rid of it.
