We just can't have it both ways folks.

80& of our current problems relate to this paragraph."

Um, no.

I will not be called "greedy." I am far from it. I work. I pay my semi-modest bills. I save what I can. And I have to get the most I can for every dollar I spend. Just like you. If that's "greedy," well, then the meaning of the word has been severely bastardized.

Just like in nature, everything follows the path of least resistance. When you can produce product X in location A with equal or superior result for less total cost than you can in location B.........you produce in location A. No successful biz ever said "screw the money, we just wanna feel good." Zero. It don't exist.

Wal Mart? God Bless THEM. This company has done more to bring modern quality products to more people and places in this country than any other in history. Think of the people they employ. The suppliers and shipping companies they employ. The construction and maintenance, engineering and trucking........the fuel providers.....that they pay the salaries for. Simply HUGE. While, all the while, making it possible for people to own and enjoy the latest in technology at the lowest possible price, or get the most for the grocery basket, that is reasonably feasible. Yeah, that's a real fuggin' shame.

Great jobs with benefits? Well, recent FedGov actions have done more to kill jobs and benefits than anything companies like Wal Mart have. Cough, Cough.....*****Care.

It's really very simple, folks. Free economies are based upon supply and demand vs. cost and benefit. Ironically, just exactly the same way you run your own household or business. Funny, eh? If this fact is a revelation or confusing for you then I pray for your I.Q. The Chinese manufacturing boom is just that, a "boom." China was well placed to supply a steady work force at bargain-basement prices 15 years ago. Just like Japan and Taiwan were 20 years prior. Remember when Japan was going to own America or that "everything today is made in Taiwan?" Yeah, well the very same economic realities that drove makers to China are still very alive and well today and will be 10, 20, 100 years from now. We hate $3.75 gas. That same $3.75 gas today makes it much less profitable for someone to produce in China or Vietnam or India and then ship to the U.S. Meaning..........that producing closer to the market therefore becomes again a more profitable enterprise. It's a cycle. Just like history, it repeats itself in successive sessions.
