Some years ago I watched as my wife backed up my pickup with the driver door open and caught the front of her car with the truck door. Wrecked both vehicles at the SAME time. Darn near ripped the door off my truck. Being young at the time, I said a WHOLE LOT of things I shouldn't have said.
Fast forward many years latter and she backs her car into the side of my truck one morning. I walked up to the truck, took a look and said, "Heck, it looks better with a huge dent in the side. Thanks, Hun." Then kissed her on the forehead.
A man either learns from his past mistakes..... or life is REAL hard on him.
