Alt light glowing at 1500 RPM\'s

My TC35D has 90 hours on it. Ever since it was new, the alt light glows at <2000 RPM with lights off and glows all the time with lights on. Dealer claimed to check it at the 50 hour service, I have my doubts. Anyone else experiencing it?

Sounds like a "leaky diode" or defective regulator in the alternator...

Just ask the dealer to change the alternator... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

How did he check it? From simple to sophisticated, you can check voltage, current or the full up "load test" where you but a resistive load on the circuit & measure max electrical system output.
