Hi Bob - when I was shopping, the local NH dealer mentioned the castings as a desireable characteristic and pointed out the 3-pt lift capacities 24" behind the balls were (if my old notes are correct) TC24DA@1265lbs vs. B7610@1058lbs. The 207lbs diff translates to a rather notable 16%+ capacity increase; however, I don't know how much is attributable to housing or hydraulics. I suppose if you push any machine out of it's design envelope you risk breakage. I have worked the 3-pt on my 7610 harder than as I -responsibly- should have and nothing broke yet! So all in all, I've generally been pleased with the capabilities for residential use and expect many years of service. The only problem I've had in 200hrs is a grease zerk coming off a FEL fitting.
