Welcome to the forum Dennis. I live in Athens and work in Huntsville. As for aluminum trailers, I don't know if I have ever seen an open deck all aluminum trailer. Most of the enclosed trailers have an aluminum box but a steel frame. Are you just looking to save weight for the tow vehicle?
There is a company that displays them at the Auto Fair in Charlotte, NC twice a year but I don't recall their name. They cost almost twice as much as a steel trailer.

Dennis; I have no specific Alabama information for you (I live in NY), but Triton makes a good product and I believe they are distributed nationally. My trailer is a Worthington, bot I am not sure how far from the Northeast they are sold.
The local dealer here sells Worthingtonhttp://www.featherliteinc.com/. Ravens who makes big truck trailers used to make some really nice utility trailers but I think they got out of it.
As I mentioned before I only have a 6 cylinder (3.0) Ranger pickup and need to keep the weight down as much as possible. I was hoping that I could get an aluminum one for under 2 grand. From what I've seen around 4 grand is the going price. I'd be better off just borrowing a truck from my brother when ever I need to pull a regular trailer.
Thanks,
