I have been avoiding higher ladder work by renting the towable man lift. Few years ago was working on house and shop. Then decided to trim some trees while my wife was out. Dropped a branch and hit the ground level e-stop switch. Was able to call a neighbor to come reset it. Now I remember to close that ground control cover before going up in the lift now.

I have learned the older you get the farther away the ground/floor gets.

Yes, and it's harder and comes up faster and more often.
