Tractor
Hurlimann 435, Fordson E27n, Bolens HT-23, Kubota B7200, Kubota B2601
So I frequently "search" for available tractors, since "the Perfect Vehicle" has not appeared.

A recent scan turned up a Kubota B9200 near me, with everything I might want in replacement of my present B7200

Larger engine, power steering, two speed pto, turf tires, hydrostatic.. etc.

But then I looked at tractor data

Freaking thing is from the 80s! (86-90)

Goes to show, Good things last! ;-)

Is a late model B2601 a better choice? Time will tell

I would say the B2601 is a better choice simply due to parts availability.

It would be curious just how many "parts" have been needed during the service life of the B9200.

My guess is nearly none.

But I did buy the late model B2601 with that thought in mind.

I would guess that most people get decades of service without needing significant parts, but then when you need them and they’re unavailable what do you do?

Well, The pivot stud on my Fordson E27n Sheared off.
I had to make a replacement, as I had no clue where to even look to buy one. ;-

I'm glad it wasn't a wheel spindle that broke! ;-)
