Is there a current consensus on the go-to?

AM/FM in today's world?
You don't BT to your phone with a set of ear buds?

I have the FM Work Tunes also. They work okay but I switched to the blue tooth only version. I just stream Pandora to it. The rechargable battery in the blue tooth unit lasts as well as the AAs in the FM unit and charges pretty quick. Not having the antenna is a plus.

I went with the Bluetooth Work Tunes. The charge lasts a long time. I can hear the cell phone ring through them. I cannot answer but it lets me know if I get a call. I have been very happy with them

My wife bought me a pair of WorkTunes a couple of years back and I love them.
The first time I hit the power switch, it was tuned to a local christian station.
After listening to that for a while I decided to never change the channel.
It's great to be out in the field listening to positive, encouraging talk and music and not all of the bickering and politics.
I'm glad she didn't get the Bluetooth model.
When I put on the Worktunes and go to work I would rather not be bothered.....

Has anyone seen these in a decent quality with a head band that can rotate to the back of the neck instead of on the top of your head.
Over the head doesn't work good with a wide brimmed hat for sun protection.

I have three sets, work tunes old and new. Actually prefer the old ones with analogue controls.

YES, I wish they would make a version for use with a hat.

I rebroadcast YOUTUBE endless streaming music (they pick out songs for me and do a surprisingly good job) on a Ramsay FM stereo transmitter. Works well on, and beyond a 100 acre farm.

not sure why this is in the safety forum. anyway am sure my comment will grate with some, but personally, feel headphones are an unnecessary luxury & a safety hazard for tractor/machinery operators for obvious safety reasons. there are numerous times when brush hogging that if i were distracted bobbing my head w/tunes, my attention would be diverted from boulders or other obstacles putting me & machinery at risk.

i only comment this since the post is in the safety forum. i'm sure many would disagree with me. just be aware as you make your choice of acoustics. best regards
