I installed a "tractor stop" along my gravel driveway which consists of a spicket and hose setup right at the edge of the road. I stop there on my way back to the tractor parking area and hose it off before I park it, every time.
I wash my tractor every 2 0r 3 weeks, I wax it 2 or 3 times a year why not it only takes 20 minutes or less.
I hate dirty anything and they always seem to run better when they are clean.
Agree 100%, I keep mine clean as well, takes very little time to wash it when it gets dirty, and wax it up once a year. For the money these tractors cost, I keep the maintence up which includes keeping it clean. And ya, why do they seem to run better when they are washed up !??? Same thing with vehicles....
I washed mine just yesterday and thought the same thing. But once it cools off some more I'll wax it. I noticed it needed it once I touched the side of with greasy hands and wiped it off and noticed how fadded it was.
