Amazing 60\" BX Mower Deck

Hi. I just wanted to provide a testimonial as to the abilities of the BX 60" deck. Basically, it finish mows better than anything I have ever used or seen! I just put it on for my first mow. My lawn looks like a carpet. The paths are wide and so perfectly cut, I'm in awe. I cannot believe this is the same tractor I was using one hour earlier to blade a wild area clear after pulling numerous (small) stumps. It's hands down the most versatile machine I have ever used. I'm not just making this up either. If the BX didn't perform, I'd be the first one to be bitchin' about it. It's an amazing piece of equipment.

Thank you all for helping to make the right purchase. --Love the thing.

I know what you mean. I am still impressed every time I mow what used to be wild ground or garden areas. It doesn't matter if it is more grass than weeds or the other way around. I've mown with Simplicty, Cub Cadet, and John Deere but this BX2200 gives me the best looking lawn I've ever had. I call it my scenic park vista.

Re: Amazing 60\" BX Mower Deck

I only have one regret with my BX - I only once got to cut my yard (1 acre sown grass / 1 acre former pasture) when it was really rough. It's been slowly improving under the tlc of the 60" deck since then. When I mow along the property line I'll occasionally snick a mower's width into the field next to me - the deck handles the long stuff that well.

The pasture I mow originally had all kinds in it - from the 3' tough field weeds to small multiflora (2-3') to your usual thick clumps of grass. Hauled the rocks out with my cart (only serious use it has had) and have been mowing it weekly since. The mowed pasture looks better than my 'lawn' since the builder was a cheap *(&^*& and used rye grass which is now all brown.
