Amazing The Things You See When You Look!

After leaving the FarmAll behind, I continue on my mission. My goal is in sight! It's the AGCO dealership where I had looked at an AGCO ST40. I wanted to see if there were any sitting out to take pictures of for my file. Well, there was one outside.

I'll just post one picture, since most of you have seen these already.

Well, I had originally planned to head back once I was finished at the AGCO dealership. But then I thought, why not go another 13 miles west to Monroe and stop by the JD dealer and the NH dealer.

So I headed over there. Got to the JD dealer first and spied a 790, 4210, and 4410 sitting outside. Oh, there were LOTS of others, but I was only interested in these. Took some shots of all of them, but I won't bore you with them since you all have seen these tractors many times.

So, i headed over to NH dealer. On the way, I had to travel through some construction. As I'm driving looking gawking at all of the dozers, scrapers, etc., I spy a JD compact sitting along side the road. But it looks kind of funny! It's a 4700 with 4 tires on the back!

After getting those shots, I went on into town and paid a visit to the NH dealer. They only had a TC21D, 2 TC33D's, and a TC45 sitting out. Took some pics and then headed home.

As I was driving home, I couldn't but help marvel at the beautiful day, the really neat things I'd seen, thinking about posting these pictures for all of you, and just enjoying being out and relaxed.

I guess that old expression about stopping and smelling the roses really does mean something! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yep, but looks to me like these modern ones take all the thrill out of it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I've only been up once in a Bell Jet Ranger (at the San Diego Helicopter Association of America convention) in 1974, but I was commander of the police helicopter section at the time and all we had were Bell 47's back then and of course in the Texas heat we kept the doors OFF most of the year; no air-conditioning in the summer and a heater than barely worked in the winter. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
