To the OP, I'd print any screen to have 'evidence' of what the seller stated was the delivery dates, etc. before going further, if I wanted to show how 'alternative facts' present themselves on Amazon. Your printed page(s) should have a time stamp on them too. Your experience would chap my arse too, changing reality midstream, wow!:confused2:
It's not Amazon specific, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced Fed-Ex stating that they have delivered items they clearly have NOT delivered? I've had this happen a number of times in recent years, 1st with a Dell laptop with signature required and free shipping from Dell, then most recently, again from Dell a warranty laptop battery which never showed up, but was said to have been delivered to my front door on a Saturday....Again no way to reach out and chokehold some lame arse fool seller or whoever is responsible for that *****!
BTW, I did get my laptop to arrive the same day they said they had already delivered AND had a signature to prove it! I know they didn't because my house sitter was there ALL day and after she left that night they came to deliver at 8:30 PM, and said no one was there to sign! Sitter needed to get shopping done elsewhere. Fortunately they left it, no apologies, no reasons for the supposedly delivered and signed for package....:anyone:
