Amber Flashing lights for BX2200

Has anyone but me broken the flashing amber lights on their BX2200?

I am going to move mine up on the rops after this weekend.

TSC has a replacement unit, but it has the wrong bulb, it is a 2057 dual element bulb for tail and stop lights, the kubota is a single element bulb.

Yup.....I have a few pine trees that really like the lenses. After mowing I go back and pick up the pieces and parts...one of these days I am just going to remove them as I never go out on the road.

I can't think of a lite I haven't seen broken on tractors. Some makes the sheet metel is so weak that supports them that they just fall out when the metal bends and they don't break.

Yea, I broke them on my BX2200 when I owned it and have one broken lens on my BX22. What really bugs me is that buying replacement lenses is "really, really hard"...if you can find them at all.

Lens pop off once in awhile but I just snap them back.

Turn signal switch is broke. 2nd one. Who the heck needs a turn signal?

Two broken ones here. probably one of the few design flaws on the BX. The dealership usually keeps 8-10 on hand, so I am not alone /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, Actually the turn signal light is not broken. It just has a problem of not working properly because it is a piece of junk. Water gets in them when you wash the tractor. Very bad design on a otherwise great machine.

After I re-read my last post I decided what I said made no sense. If the switch doesn't work properly then I guess it's definately broken.

Actually, TSC carries a round amber replacement lens that fits perfectly. A buddy of mine has brokent two of them, and he just popped in the replacements from TSC. I've been fortunate enough that I've never broken them yet....

Charlie, can you ask your friend for the TSC part number? I need to call them as they are not "close" and I'm not willing to drive for over an hour to come home empty handed! If they have them, I'll by an "inventory"... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
