Can u post a picture, I was thinking the fender would be a good place also. No room behind seat because I moved it back.

here is a couple pix, the box is about 14"x8" x 7" deep I could get more in it if I removed one of the chains, although when owning a YM no need for a lot of wrenches, I have more used for my chains;) I did have to drill 4 holes into the fender and used short carriage bolts to hold it down, so far I haven't found it to be in my way, and I can stand up and reach right into it in this location, easier than where the toolbox was before plus the other tools box was limited to what could be put into it, I found another use for that tool box to hold all of my hole saw bits,:D

I thought most Yanmars had a small, but adequate, toolbox mounted to the top of the bell housing, as my YM2000B has. When I bought mine, every tractor on the lot had a toolbox.

they do have that toolbox but its only good for a few linch pins and other pins. I keep a small hammer for banging stuck things a big wrench to change lift pins if i need. and some other stuff that wont fit in that little box. My wrench alone is a big crescent that is like 15"s.
