Ammo $$ going up??

Aren't most reloaders are looking for extra accuracy and not savings??

I reload becuase it is fun and interesting to play with various primer/brass/powder/bullet combinations. It IS also cheaper. As for accuracy, there are some pretty accurate factory loads out now days.

It's kinda like home brewing beer. I can do it cheaper, but it is also fun to create and try recipes. And it is fun to consume your own creations

It usually does not take me long. Besides, I have a small portable table I use to reload. It is easy to sit and watch tv and size/deprime brass. Is is a pretty lazy time in front of the tube to prime brass.

I am a bit fickle about dropping powder charges though. I do prefer to use bulky powders, where a visual inspection shows a pretty full case.

For the most part though, if I have time for TV, I have time to reload.

Most times my only excuse is being lazy

We always reload everything, including shotguns, except for rimfire.

It just adds to the great fun we have hunting.

I have found good ammo prices at gun shows, as well as reloading supplies. Gun shows here in the Peoples Socialist Repulik of Kalifornia are not what they used to be, but can still find most ammo.
