Question,
Have any of you shot or loaded fleshets (spelling ?) in a shot gun???
Well, I did it............joined the NRA..........and I hate to "join" anything. My son was at Cabela's today and saw a very busy ammo counter. He stocked up. Maybe I'll buy another weapon just to keep up with the times.....that Fllintlock and black powder is getting outdated.![]()
Nice roll crimp!
Looks just like the 158's I make with my 2 cavity mold.
The wife and I used to shoot between 500 and 1000 about every week. It goes really quick.
That's one reason why I don't have a simi-auto firearm, fun to shoot, but a 100rds is nothing. When my younger son brings his ak something something over, puts a clip in, shooting at a rolling tire off a bank, it can really spit the shells out, expensive and fun at the same time. If I could afford a semi-auto, I'd get a 20ga for shooting skeet, I think moving targets are more fun to shoot at then a steel plate.
And what is the fascination with 22s, shoot a tin can, it knocks over, glass bottle it breaks, block of wood makes small hole, steel plate makes a ping. Do the same with a 45 colt, 357, 38, 12-20ga, blows everything to smithereens and timbuktoo, that's what I'm talking about more bang for the buck.....
Me and a couple finds used to grab 250 rounds of 12 ga shoot and a pack of 90-120 clays and a hand thrower and go off in the woods and blast off a couple hundred rounds with pump shotguns like it was nothing, after work. You certainly dont have to have a semi auto to shoot hundreds of rounds st a range outting.
