rja, I just got a friend 12 gallons today of 100:1 premix. They also make the racing oil which is injector and 50:1 premix. I use the 100:1 in all my small 2 cycle engines and they do not smoke and they rev higher. Its snowmobile season up here so most all the newer snowmobiles use the injector oil. gary
I just tried some of the amsoil in the chainsaw. I've only run a couple of gallons through it so far. But it seems to have given the saw a few hundred more on the top end. As far as starting it always takes two pulls to start the saw if it's been sitting awhile. One pull if it's been run within the last hour. As of now I'm happy with it but time will tell the story. I'll post more once I tach out the saw and run her some more---that will be tomorrow---the runnin part that is!

I've used it for 15 years or so. I've got a Poulan SD25 that had been used a lot for 7 or 8 years on Amsoil 2-cycle oil when I got it 14 years ago. It's been used a lot more in those 14 years I've had it, but a couple years ago, I had my dealer pull it down to fix some screws on the carb that wouldn't stay tight. While he was at it, he took a look at the cylinder and said he couldn't believe how little wear and buildup there was.
My Kubota dealer has an ultralight plane that has a 2-cycle engine. He switched to Amsoil 2-cycle oil and said his temps under load dropped by 35 degrees. He's sold. That was about when he decided to become an Amsoil dealer and sell and recommend the stuff in his shop, too.
