I use Amsoil in my diesel pickup truck . I also used oil analysis . I ran the first batch of oil for 46k mi. The test said it was getting low on additives but retest in 7k mi. I changed it instead. The next batch I ran for 40k and it started to oxidize but said not critical and retest in 100hrs or 7k mi. I changed it instead. This is how good Amsoil 3000 5w30 is. I also run Saber 2 stroke @ 1 oz. per gal (128:1) and never had a problem in 3 years. I have used it in my Kubotas hydraulic tranny and saw no difference between Amsloil and Kubota super fluid. I also use it in my pickup tranny. I saw no difference than when I had regular fluid in it compared to Amsloil, not that there wasn't a difference, just don't remember noticing a difference. Good stuff, but if you use it don't go dumping in in 7k mi. It is still brand new oil Just change the filters when needed.
