Amsoil

MikePa-I agree with the statement but Amsoil is pricing themselves out of business for tractor filters.

Unless some company does a test per some ASTM, SME etc on filers the Amsoil is 2X the Kubota price for my BX22 while nothing gained. Granted I could have “almost” all items shipped to my home, but I still need other things if doing maintence, ie. Air filter. Get the oil filters while getting the air filter. Or buy ‘all” items at the Kubota dealer.

Just saying Amsoil pushes some items (filters, oil, etc) while having no “added value” statements saying WHY their price is 2X normal items or even better, why is Amsoil 5w-30 oil 2.5 times their 15-40……. Don’t get it. Why not compare there series 3000 against their 15w-40? See IF it is really 2.5 times better. So far it is a huge nope in my book

I like the product but I can't stand there testing or lack there of on certain items.

I agree. Other than Amsoil oil and grease, I buy all my other supplies at the dealer and/or auto parts store where I buy a years supply of filters, etc. One visit to the dealer beats paying double to Amsoil. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mike:

If you go to the dealer you also get to drool over all the equipment that is in stock.
