When I was a kid (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth) I had a neighbor with an electric fence he used around a small two-acre spot where he let horses graze. After he took the fence down, he tried to lead one of the horses back to the barn and the horse absolutely refused to cross the area where the fence had been. He took down part of a regular fence into the barnyard and the horse walked through with no problem. My dad suggested that he could have covered the horse's head with a blanket, but my guess is that the horse would not have liked that either. I think there really is something to the phrase, "good horse-sense." /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
