Grapple ANBO vs Construction Attachments

/ ANBO vs Construction Attachments #11
I have a 48 inch light duty grapple on my Kioti DK40se which is about the same size as your Mahindra. Light duty cheap grapples work beautifully on CUTs. Spending more IMO gets you pretty much nothing except lower net lift capacity. I have a no longer available Millonzi but the Markham/Gator is pretty similar. Lots of happy TBN customers too.

The ANBO is certainly a good grapple but I think it is overkill and unnecessarily high tech. You want mild steel so you can heat and fix it without weakening the steel. There is no benefit to extra weight or fancy steel for a grapple on a CUT.

Here are examples of what I did today with my five year old $600 280lb grapple. What can the ANBO do better?

I have an Anbo GRM 66" and it is a great tool.
The Anbo GRM allows you to tilt the grapple forward and rake back away and into a pile.

The GRM 66 weighs around #380+- so it is not very heavy.

It does not allow you to pick things up and then open the grapple without dropping like the flat bottom grapples do (like the Markam /Gator grapples).

There are plus and minus to each type and I have bent a tine ever so slightly and straightened it out(difficult though). Decide the type of work you are doing and buy what suits your needs.

Construction Attachments makes some great buckets. I have one of teire 4 in 1 's I picked up from a downsizing company last this spring. Its a great attachment. I know several folks that run their grapples and really like them.

as to your question when i looked at the anbo they were for dozers and larger tractors. they started at 1000lbs,it looks like they make smaller/lighter ones now.as others have said there are options.i've used all of them ,the 4n1 is the one i use most, the grapple type like islandtractor picks up the most bush/tree stuff leaving dirt .
