I ran the 765 for years, sold it about five years ago for more than I [aid for it... funny how that goes.

The Screens get bigger and bigger, sometimes I think too much info... but it all takes time to digest and learn how to use it.

I have a Yaesu Ft-891 in the Silverado with a Little Tarheel II Screwdriver antenna. Color matched (red) with the truck.

I would like to think so. I have helped dozens of guys over the phone and with screen sharing software get their rigs up on digital.
I was appointed as one of the Missouri Tech Specialists by the ARRL in recognition of work I was already doing.

If you haven't tried to help someone get something technical running over the phone, you just haven't lived!

Not that it matters to anyone BUT
Not to long after I got my Tech I ended up having a big heart attack and after my pacemaker was put in I became gun shy being Ham Radio was on the avoid list, said if I transmit I need to be at least 5 feet from any antanna wires and as my pic shows they were right by me but I’m redoing my shack so I can continue on and get my General.
