I just got a Samsung note 8 and am planning on having mounts for my tractors.

Any suggested mounts?

Initially I want to use it for inclinometer and picture taking.

No suggestions for the mount but I'm interested in what you find. What app are you using for the Inclinometer? Something specific to measure incline or something more general, like a Compass?

I love my Note 8.

Dont have ANY experience on the Galaxy mounts, but, I would use and adjustable, drilled mounted one like this: Amazon.com: Digitl Robust 360 Degree Samsung Galaxy Note 8 / Tab 3 Adjustable Seat Bolt Car Mount Vehicle Hands-Free Tablet Holder (for use with skin or hard case protector): GPS & Navigation . Thinking is - its screw mounted, adjustable/adaptable, reasonably strong.

the device doesn't pop out when you hit a bump or drop a wheel in a hole.
I want to suggest RAM Mounting Systems, Inc. which is very popular
among bikers for that reason. You might call them for recommendations.

Hi,

I hadn't thought about mounting one of our's to the tractor, but maybe we'll try it.

As far as android apps, I like smart tools a lot for its compass, protractor/inclinometer, flashlight, mirror and other tools.
