Dirst/loam is high unless you know people.

When I removed my inground fund sucker (pool). I got 100 yards of bank run for about $50 in Polish food! Need about 20 more and 15 yards loam and that will more then likely be zero. ..or some "how do you do drinks". /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

How did you sweet talk your wife into letting you get away with doing that?????? I've been trying to talk mine into doing that for 20 years, both in Dallas and here ... never succeeded yet. She says she loves that pool. She uses it maybe 10 hours a year and all the relatives kids use it during the summer but of course I have to maintain it 365 days a year. I'd love to fill that sucker in. Come to think of it, it would make a great vegetable garden.

I told the wife that the pool need a new mesh cover ($1000), new liner ($2000 installed), and some various work on concrete. So about $3,500 to get back to good working condition.

Even since we put central air in we spent ZERO time in it. So I removed the liner, removed the endless yards of concrete, total of about 100 yards fill and BAM, no more pool.

More room for dogs and the new lawn and inground sprinklers go in this year!

PS. She loves not having one now. Look back at the million pictures I took when I rmeoved it, man it took up a lot of room and time.
