Another PTO tiller is the Howard Rotovater (sp?)
I have had one of these in a 5' width for a long time. I run mine off of a 30hp IH 284 Diesel. I once tried to use it on a buddies 9n, and his lowest gear was too fast (didn't have the Sherman box)....it was totally useless on the 9n, as the ground speed was about the same as the tine speed, so it just danced across the ground. I am sure your machine will go slow enough to use any of those mentioned, and if you could find a Howard, used, they are good tillers.
I have not detroyed mine in over 20 years, & I have used it to assist in building 'roads'....let alone planting.

I thought the CountyLine tiller was just a rebadged KK?

Not always. I bought a 60" 3 point tiller last spring from TSC & thought I'd be getting the King Kutter II but TSC in Lehighton, Pa. has Tarter Gate implements. Now it also says "County Line" on it. But it says it's manufactured by Tarter Industries. It looks identical to a King Kutter II & is gear driven & is one heavy built SOB!!

I am new a this. I am trying to decode between a 62" Bush Hog Rototiller used or a new TSC Tarter 6" rototiller. It will mostly be used for landscaping, not vegetable gardening. The TSC is on sale for $1500. The Bush Hog is half the price but needs all new tines.
