Duber - some great input, thanks. I did see the stiff throttle info and fix, but not the deck pin thread. I'll be watching and testing.
Dan - Point well taken as 4wd can give you a false sense of security. As a new operator, I buried my first tractor - a Ford 1620 w/ FEL and turfs - right to the frame in a soggy bog on my old property. Part of the learning curve I guess, but I NEVER want to deal with that PITA again. Thankfully, things appear to be much dryer at the new homestead.
Jim - I'm with you about the bucket hooks, standard operating equipment IMO. And, it really is one of the best 'little' things a dealer can offer to do gratis. Doesn't cost much in time or materials, and the usefullness and customer appreciation far exceed their investment.
Anxious, expectant father-to-be that I am, I might have to find some time today to check up on progress. If I do, I'll take the digicam and snap a few pics for posterity. Don't recall seeing any other crate or early assembly photos on TBN. Might be kinda neat...
