G'morning!

Duber - some great input, thanks. I did see the stiff throttle info and fix, but not the deck pin thread. I'll be watching and testing.

Dan - Point well taken as 4wd can give you a false sense of security. As a new operator, I buried my first tractor - a Ford 1620 w/ FEL and turfs - right to the frame in a soggy bog on my old property. Part of the learning curve I guess, but I NEVER want to deal with that PITA again. Thankfully, things appear to be much dryer at the new homestead.

Jim - I'm with you about the bucket hooks, standard operating equipment IMO. And, it really is one of the best 'little' things a dealer can offer to do gratis. Doesn't cost much in time or materials, and the usefullness and customer appreciation far exceed their investment.

Anxious, expectant father-to-be that I am, I might have to find some time today to check up on progress. If I do, I'll take the digicam and snap a few pics for posterity. Don't recall seeing any other crate or early assembly photos on TBN. Might be kinda neat...

Hello Frank, and thanks. Probably a week at least to get it together, tested and delivered. Must be delivered before 3/31 for the 0%/24mos., but of course I said the sooner, the better!

Sadly, it's still in the crate today /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif...

Thanks for the push Henro, HD alternator kit $160 installed. So far, a very positive dealer experience...

I too could not imagine my life without the B7610. It really does so much (and much more to come) around the house. I got the HD alternator also. Figured it be a good idea for flood lights, or a heater if I ever decide on getting a cab. The only downside I noticed, is that with the high output alt, it is fisically larger than the standard alt. It gets in the way when checking the oil, so I have to remoce the side panel to check it. On the dealers' floor, with the stock alternator, you could check it just by opening the hood. It's not a big deal, just one of those little things.

Cangrats, and enjoy the tractor.
