I have one similar size that I was told was Cub Cadet. Sandblast or sand the entire thing and repaint it.
They don't make them that sturdy anymore. Keep it.

Like all these kinds of situations, "it depends." Depends mainly on what your workload is and is expected to be with moving stuff, debris, materials, etc. The cheapest by far is the wide variety of "carry-all" frames sold these days. Mounts on your 3pt hitch and amounts to an angle iron frame with pre-made 3pt hitch connections. You can make your own wooden box or shape the load carrying container bolted to this frame to suit yourself. Cheap and universal. Depending on your financial resources there is nothing hardly on any tractor as useful and universal as a front end loader. If you spring for a FEL and add that to your GC1710 you can get one with a quick attach skid steer compatible connection mechanism and choose from hundreds of different buckets of sizes and shapes and features to suit you.

To me, carts are simply a nuisance. Maneuvering issues, take up space to park, etc. For what little I know of your situation -- on the cheap side go with a carry-all rear mounted and on the more expensive but huge useful side, go with a front end loader.

My carry-all, from a YouTube plan. Good for woods work, not so much for “filling and dumping”. Built in bench top for sharpening the saw. Can add for carrying a shovel and other tools.

I like my CMI 4'x8'x18" 4000 lb gross dump trailer. I pull/dump it hydraulic front or back on my B7100 or pull it with my 4 wheeler. It came with a pin on hitch, but I installed a ball hitch on it, which is easier for me. It's really handy as a big wheel barrow for anything I need moved. I usually just hook it to the front of my B7100 without hydraulics, because my box blade is hooked to the back.

I once used truck/car hoods as haulers, kidding loads: see my avatar. I would also turn the scarifiers around inside the box blade, raised up, and set a piece of plywood down on the scarifier tips and the forward-facing rear blade, which gave be a kind of box to stick stuff in. I'd have those things going plus the front bucket filled.

What was great about the hoods was that one could roll stuff on and off, or, at the very least, didn't have much distance to lift on/off. They eventually wear out. Also it can be a bit tricky to hook up a tow line to. I made the best of what I found on my property when I moved here: reference to the car and truck hoods I unearthed!
