Just to point out for the upteeenth time. Multiple investigations of that claim all showed that the work was valid and required. There was nothing sleazy or underhanded found.

That keeps surfacing like the Benghazi crap. How many times was that found to be nothing but people still believe it.

When you get caught lying about your data, investigating yourself is always a good way to explain that it didn't happen, or that it's part of science. What's amazing is that somebody would actually use this as a justification to support their position.

Here is an aside. I cannot imaging what it must feel like to support a sports team and think that the other teams it plays against are "the bad guys". I have never been a "sports fan", and never "gave loyalty" to a sports team. I cannot imagine what that is like. I have never admired sports figures or entertainers, or "stars". I have never considered them as admirable people.

They are VERY ordinary people at best, and many of their VERY human foibles are on display for all to see. Some of you are probably saying "well what in he77 is wrong with him" or "that explains a lot"! But seriously, I just don't care about sporting events or any of the people involved in it. Nor do I care anything about any star or entertainer. Even though a few of them are decent people, the vast majority of them I wouldn't even associate with.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I admire natural talent...love music, books, most art forms...IMO anyone with true talent and wit deserve admiration and recognition...I don't think they should use their fame in any way to influence others.
...love for sports for most starts in school...I don't think those that have never participated in a team sport can relate to what it's like to be relied on and to rely on others and have the rest of your world relying on the team as a whole...

Popular thing in the science world that intrigue me are the String Theory (does not require a savant to understand the basics)...and things like the density of collapsed stars where if here on Earth...a matchbox of material would weigh over 3 billion metric tons...!
