This tractor is sitting at just under $3000. At that price, you could buy it, resell it, buy an brand new CUT and put a down payment on a house with the money left over!

Here is YET ANOTHER SCAM on Ebay, this is a Kubota.

Scam also apparently based in England.

And here is the fourth ebay scam I found in about 10 minutes of looking on ebay. Again, this is a Kubota. So in the past few minutes I've found 3 scam Kubotas and 1 scam NH.

There are more than that - I spent some time sending email back and forth with one scam for a Kubota BX22 - the auction indicated that the tractor was located in the US but the responder told me that the tractor was in Portugal - when I asked why the tractor was selling for such a low price they said " we just want to get rid of it because we are moving to the city" . I followed thru and acted like I was interested and they said to send the payment with a Western Union money transfer - if you look at the Western Union website you will see the limit for a money transfer is $3000 - which is why they are selling for just under that at $2900. Rule of the day - if a deal seems to good to be true it probably is.

I never could figure out why they kept the prices so low.

So what it boils down to is some idiot thinks he can get a $12,000; $20,000 or even $35,000 tractor for $3000, and because they are that silly, they lose a few grand. The scammers don't make big money, but if they pull off one scam a week they make a very tidy sum each year, tax free.

The ones I looked at were from different E-BAY members with high ratings but they had no or few feed back from buyers. They all sold comic books, tapes etc. The tractors all look like there in a dealer lot in the states---you think they could do a better fake us out job.....Each one I e-mailed came back from Portugal.........

I've got my money ready to buy,but I want to pay when I pick it up.

It's hard to imagine someone trusting enough to send big money to a person in hopes they'll receive an item - especially this day and time. If I'm going to be buying a tractor on Ebay, you can bet your last dollar I'll be going to pick it up and pay on the owner's doorstep.

For the tractor in England... isn't it crystal clear to see?

Don't we ALL know that the English driver sits on the RIGHT side of the machine?

This tractor, clearly has the seat in the middle.

I saw a couple of these scams and they were both from Ebay members who had high ratings from doing a lot of BUYING. I could not find anything in their ratings that indicated any response from selling. If you look at the auctions closely there are a lot of inconstencies, email addresses that differ, pictures from one auction from one seller being the same as another completely different seller and stuff like that. I have been meaning to report these to Ebay but have not gotten around to it.
