Hi Guys,

I run a repair service for tractors and small engines up here in the mountains in AZ. Since I was a youngster I've always loved rebuilding engines, welding and metal fabrication. Now in my 40's I like to design and build implements and such mostly when I am not repairing chainsaws and such.

Glad to be a part of a large community of people who like the same things.

Tad

Welcome from Flagstaff. What part of AZ are you in?

:welcome: to TBN! I am a gear head in training. :) I am in the process of fixing a non running Simplicity 9518 Diesel tractor. Put on a new injection pump, serviced it, cleaned injectors, new glow plugs, new fuel, new battery, but I still need to replace the rings. Glad to have you part of the forum. I enjoy following mechanical threads.

Thanks folks. I am in Show Low, just down the road from Flag

Technically I am a transplant from Weatherford Texas. My family is originally from Collinsville, Sapulpa, and Tulsa Oklahoma. The wife and I wanted to get into a less crowded area, and she wanted to get into a cooler climate (she grew up in the mountains in California), so we moved up here into the mountains. I am not used to this kind of cold yet but I seem to do alright as long as I keep the double barrel stove fired up in the shop.

Very good people up here. Have made friends with some in the Mormon community up here. I would protect them with my life. They have helped us alot when we first got up here (about 5 years ago) with building my shop and such. Alot of trucking up here as well, so when my other business gets slow I use my commercial license and run a big rig around to make some extra dough, which has made this tough economy easier on us.
