My guess is that you slip that over a pipe to pull it out of the ground. By the way, they are not a matched pair.... one is larger than the other... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I though the same as you so I will defer to your guess.

But I can advise you that my wife and I are not the same size, but still we are a pretty good matched pair, so I think Wharv is right on! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They're a matched pair. The larger one is for two and three eighths terminal posts when pulling cheap chainlink fence. The one and five eighths is for the line posts.

I also have them in one and seven eighths and two and seven eighths.

They do work well.
