I'm Dan, a retired university professor living in SE Michigan.
I have 20 acres of woods and fields, lots to take care of. I've been here for 15 years, and bought a Kioti 3054 with front bucket a few months after getting here. Primary use is for plowing snow, but I do a lot of other work as well. I have a back blade, a rake, a brush hog, and a chipper/shredder.
I bought the tractor after a friend loaned me his (a Kubota) just to see what it could do. His advise was "Two things: don't kill yourself, and don't knock down the house." Good advise! It always makes me think twice.
I had some trouble starting my tractor today, which is why I'm here, why I found the forum. I'll look for help on that somewhere else in this forum.
