Funny you mention Bobcat and CC Yanmar! Those are the 2 top picks at the moment. The CT230 and the EX3200. I know the CT has s few more "Deluxe" features but i'm really liking the CC partnered with Yanmar! My only concern with the CC Yanmar is their lift capacities seem to be a little lacking compared to the CT. You have any advice?

what i like about cub/yanmar is yanmars quality and stability, they built deers tractor for about 20 years , just about every manufacture out there has yanmar engines in thier equipment and the 5 year warranty is huge ! another thing is there buy back guarantee and free 50 hour service !
Not to get on the dealer thing again but my local "big franchised dealer " quoted $1400 for thier 50 hour service , thats allmost criminal !
you will probably be happy with the performance of either tractor , my decision was based on quality but mostly the dealer , I do have to admit the yellow black is growing on me:D

Before we quit Kioti, we had problems with getting inventory. Especially a special order unit. We often ran into situations where there were 200-300 tractors in inventory at the warehouse and no tires or batteries or or Loaders or ROPs etc to go on them , This is a common problem with a vertical integrated company. I don't know how they are priced now, but back 4-5 yrs ago when we had them, our customers could buy a Deere,NH or Massey for the same money as a Kioti or just a few hundred more. Ken Sweet

Ha! Try 10k more for a Kubota equivalent in 40hp range(DK40SE vs L4240 both with cab), 6-8k more for a Massey (DK45SE vs MF 1648), Deere would be 15k more... I never bothered to check as their prices for a used 30hp machine were already the same as a new 40hp Kiotio. At least here.

No, he's probably being totally honest with you. It really depends on the area. He is not too far from me, all things considered, and I bought a Kubota for less than I could get a Kioti for. It's very difficult to make blanket statements and say that "Kioti will save you $5000 or more over a Kubota or Deere." That simply isn't true. I also bought my Deere for less than what the Kioti dealer wanted. In other areas I have no doubt the opposite is true.

Hopefully a few neutral comments. For one, Kioti in most models is significantly cheaper than Deere and many cases Kubota. Kioti will out spec a Kubota as long as you're comparing "like" models as close as you can get.
It isn't too difficult to sell Kioti against a Deere or Kubota as long as the customer has an open mind as most who look at Kioti do.

As far as the type of dealers that Kioti is recruiting and has, what's wrong w/ lawn mower and ATV dealers? Last time I checked all JD dealers had mowers as well as most Kubota dealers. And many have had or have ATV's. So it is a like business. A dealer needs to have multiple product lines to survive if they have any size of operation at all.

I am so glad you know so much! With such an intelligent accusation you should voice your opinion more often. So to understand your comment than we should all just think you own or work for one of the dealers Kioti has taken there product from right? (if you are its ok too) Sorry I wont stoop to your petty ways. But I stand by my comment.... It was a really good post with good information and opinion!
I have traveled enough in my life. The military and driving truck kept me away from my family long enough. So as to your accusation I am not a rep nor would I ever choose to be. It takes a special person to perform that task. The good ones it seems are on the road more than home and they have the ability to be shot at, cursed at, and threatened all while keeping a smile on their face. My fuse is much to short for such a profession. I do however respect those that have the ability to be an equipment rep and maybe there are some good ones on here "secretly" defending their company. Maybe they should since the company they work for and the dealers they represent are providing their income.

I agree. the prices i was quoted were way way cheaper for the Kioti, but if i would have shopped around more, i could have gotten a JD or kubota for less than my local JD and Kubota shops quoted me. both of them were selling around list price, and didnt offer much for cash sale.

I was told that other shops in Wash state were offering better deals, so the price difference would not have been so much.

Then again, i REALLY love my dk45SE HST....so i guess it doesn't matter now.
