I've not even looked at my battery. Are these things standard wet cells like a car battery or are they like motorcycle batteries? Are we suppose to add water periodically or are they supposed to be maintenance free? Is there a post listing suitable subs for kubota?
Car batteries, motorcycle batteries and tractor batteries are all the same design. I guess maintenance free is more common these days in cars, but otherwise, they are the same.
Yes, you should check the fluid level but generally water is only lost during discharge/recharge cycles and tractors usually don't have too much of that (IOW, needing water is rare.)
I know Walmart's auto parts has a chart of what fits Kubota tractors. Just make sure that you get one with the positive and negative posts in the right location. I had to make an extra trip for that.
