Comparison Another Kubota vs. Deere Quandary

The guy in the Deere video operating the Kubota tredel pedal is either an idiot or purposely trying to make the Kubota look bad. You don't put your whole foot on the pedal. CC is a nice feature although I've never used it for its intended purpose.

Just the loader removal would make me go kubota.

Just curious, but how often do you take your loader arms off and not just the bucket?

I got an R, in large part, because of this and the 3 sp tranny. I'm thinking now, both were the wrong reasons.

I'd have to agree with buckeyfarmer.
I use my loader like any other attachment, put it on when I need it, take it off when I don't. I always remove my loader to mow.
SSQA is another must have for any tractor I ever own. I switch from bucket to forks to snow plow quick and easy..

How long do I have to wait to come to this realization? Will it happen in this lifetime or the next one? :) :)
Once you see the light you'll never go back. It might not ever happen if you're satisfied with just moving dirt.

I've taken mine off like 3 times but it was essential all 3 times. It would be be better to take it off when mowing, but it seems I always find rocks or branches than need moved when mowing. I don't know how you'd get by without a 3 speed transmission on a machine of any size. High is geared to high for anything except road travel. Medium and low get the work done. My L3240 has a 6 speed HST, which is a life saver, but if it wasn't under powered this wouldn't be necessary. On my B7200 I only have a 2 range HST and get by fine, but high is geared pretty low. On the CTL I wish I had a 3 speed.

tough dilemma
I like the 2 pedals, because I can rest my heel on the floorboard just like in a car.

But I don't know if I could handle just 2 speeds. I use low for my box blade, and high to go on the road up to 18 mph.

I also like to take off my FEL....

metal or plastic wouldn't make up my mind so much.

Four of my six tractors have/had 'rocker' pedals but it's only with the Terramite that you don't rest your heel on the floorboard like a car.

Is this a bugaboo with folks who disdain 'rocker pedals', .. thinking your foot rocks too and not just the pedal?

Like the man said, get on 'em & drive both.

I have a kub and like nearly everything about it. I would rather have the two pedal set up in JD. I pick my foot up to change directions anyway so left and right would be easier than front to back. JD also has a really cool feature theyre starting to put on their 40-60hp tractors that is awesome: The ability to raise and lower the 3 point and the ability to move the tractor fwd and aft form the left rear fender. That would be totally awesome to have for putting 3 point attachments on. 1gpm of hydro flow is totally irrelevant as neither has the ability to run bobcat style implements at 18-20gpm. I wish small tractors would get their hydro to that point. The fact that the buckets and fork go on and off with a quick attach stf is excellent; now give me the ability to run bobcat snowblowers and sweepers form native hydraulics.
