Well that is a good perspective picture. Those new Fords are BIG but that L4300 (which I didn't even know existed) makes it look small (or smaller I should say). I've often wanted that extra weight and HP.

The loader got put to the test today. A replacement 286 Bush Hog was delivered on a flat bed truck and the loader was very near it's limit lifting it off. The Bush Hog weighs 962 lbs. and the chains were coming down from the toothbar of the loader. The loader specs show a 1,025 lb. max. lift at max height from the front lip of the loader and I wish I had taken a digital pic! We were all too busy making sure the mower didn't damage the tractor or truck. After having older farm tractors such as: Ford 8N, AC WD-45 and Model B, I'm amazed at the versatility of these new compact tractors with loaders and diesel engines. They sure are nice.

Gudday Jim FL Veeery nice unit ,Seems a shame to get that nice orange paint dirty ,also like the F truck,I read an article in one of the metro newspapers recently on the new F series trucks,it's about time Ford put diesel engines in the F series, the older ones were good trucks they were gas guzzlers Have fun with the new toy err tools.
