Being ignorant of what you are getting into really helps. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I put around 25 hours into this project so far. What really took time was not the digging but moving the dirt to the holding area (about 50 yards each trip). I would work about 4 hours a day (afternoons) and really enjoyed the challenge. I can not say enough about the PowerTrac equipment.

Impressive is an understatement! Those photo go a long way in showing what a small gas powered unit will do, for not a lot of money in compared to larger Diesel units!!

Thank you, the project will start again in about a month with the start of the tractor shed. This little 425 will play a large part in the construction of this two story building. I hope to be taking many pictures along the way.
Also I will be using the mini hoe to dig a trench 120 feet for the water and telephone line.

Will do. This will be a poor mans way of digging as I will only be doing the one trench. If I had many to do I would get the trencher for the 425 (might anyway) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Weather has been in the high 40's and ground is thawed out. Started to move lilac bushes that were along the hole I dug for the tractor/garden shed. Moved 13 bushes in a little over 20 minutes using the mini hoe. Can't say enough about the mini hoe.

This picture shows taking out a clump from on top of the hill. Notice the house in the background. Have planted more bushes to hide my neighbor /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

This photo show how you can reach over the lilac bushes and curl the bucket to extract the roots and dirt all in one.
