ANOTHER NEW 2520 ON IT\'S WAY

Well I ordered a new 2520 last week. I would like to thank you all for the great advice and posts on this forum. Because of your great advice I think I got a fair deal as well as a good dealer for service etc.

John Deere 2520 With R-4 tires
Loaded tires (Sweetener Plus)
Power beyond Option
Block Heater
200 CX loader with 61 in. bucket
Hood Guard
46 Backhoe with 16 in. bucket
BB2060 Frontier Box Scraper

$21800.00 Set Up and Delivery with 3 Years 0% Financing

Now the waiting begins before delivery. Dealer told me that it would only take 2 Weeks to complete. He has the tractor and front loader just has to wait for bh & bb. I told him I was in no hurry that I wouldn’t need until April. What was I thinking?

HOLY MOLY!! I'm waiting another 6 weeks for mine /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Your loader will easily be there within a couple weeks. I ordered my 2520, 200cx, & 62c deck the first week of Jan. Loader arrived in about 10 days.... deck could be there as well, but I'm not sure. My tractor isn't scheduled for delivery until the end of March /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif ... Good thing this is my busy time at work... Work is keeping my mind off the new tractor.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was out on the JD site looking to price the 46 hoe for the 2520--it no longer appears in the "build your own" section. Hope this doesn't mean it's no longer an option. Anybody able to configure this? I'm looking to get an idea of what the hoe set-up costs before I ask the dealer what it will add to my package price.

I believe the suggested price was around $6200ish...

List price for the 46 is $6160.00 which includes sub-frame. 13” Bucket $40.00 and 16” $60.00.

Price I received for the 46 and 16” bucket was $5297.50 which includes a dealer’s setup fee of $280.55.

OK--thnaks guys. Still curious as to why it's not on the JD site any longer. Wonder if there is another option on the way /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
