Well the hickory smoked turkey breast with blue cheese dressing was delightful. While Tom was soaking in all that good smoky flavor, I tried to get a revealing snap shot of the malady. No matter how I placed the camera, the fact that the left side lagged behind the right when raising was not captured.
BUT, I got the carpenter's level and verified that the tractor was plumb to the floor. The hitch arms of the tractor are level with each other. The tires on all four corners are evenly inflated, the outer duals evenly set 2# less than their mates. I then raised the mower just the least little bit, just to where the right unit was clearing the floor and the center barely clearing, the left still down on the floor. The carpenter's level told the tale. The center mower section was dead nuts level. The right mower section was a tad high to the right and the left still on the floor and level, of course. Raise the front hydraulic another inch and the level bubbles remained the same, except the left unit was low to the left. DUHHHHHH!? The slotted couplers that raise and lower the "bat wings" ARE adjustable. I need to lengthen the right slotted coupler and shorten the left one. The total error is about an inch and a quarter + and is no big deal since all three mower sections float in operation. But, some rainy day I will tweak them. Typical new bee problem where the idiot asking did not understand every thing he thought he knew about the problem. Sorry about that!
