I fail to notice any adjustment for this in manual, but my front hydraulic lift raises the implement's right side before and higher than the left side. I wonder if this is the tractor or the implement (contour mower). I need to check that out first, but just wondering if there is some adjustment I missed.

Are you talking about raising the front hitch? If so, there is no adjustment. The front hitch is rigid. If you are talking about raising the left and right side of the contour mower, they should raise simultaneously and by the same amount. There is some adjustment provided on the mower itself, but it is not normally necessary. Please provide more detail.

JackIL, I am talking about the front hitch, not the auxiliary that raises the side units. When on float, the mower sits very level side to side and front to back on the blade has that just right 1/8" difference. So if I set the auxiliary so that the outer units are held level with the center section and then raise the mower, the left side will rise an inch before the right side clears the ground.

The mower adjustments appear to be correct. The rollers all sit flat in a level surface. All of the anti-scalp castors and the larger front wheels are good. The mounting brackets are nestled well into the tractor's latches. Just a bit kattiewumpers. I can detach the mower and set a carpenter's level across the tractor's hitch arms to see if they are level when on level ground.

It's a hefty implement. A half pound difference in tire pressure can cause the deflection. I use a digital gauge, however using the Ventrac specific pressures and implement weight it's hard to get an even lift. If you're running duals you have a better chance assuming all 8 tires are at the correct pressure. The mechanical float setting of the implement height generally compensates for any tire pressure deflection. With the specifics you've posted sounds like you're good to go.

Please post photos showing the situation so we can better grasp what you are seeing.

Well the hickory smoked turkey breast with blue cheese dressing was delightful. While Tom was soaking in all that good smoky flavor, I tried to get a revealing snap shot of the malady. No matter how I placed the camera, the fact that the left side lagged behind the right when raising was not captured.

BUT, I got the carpenter's level and verified that the tractor was plumb to the floor. The hitch arms of the tractor are level with each other. The tires on all four corners are evenly inflated, the outer duals evenly set 2# less than their mates. I then raised the mower just the least little bit, just to where the right unit was clearing the floor and the center barely clearing, the left still down on the floor. The carpenter's level told the tale. The center mower section was dead nuts level. The right mower section was a tad high to the right and the left still on the floor and level, of course. Raise the front hydraulic another inch and the level bubbles remained the same, except the left unit was low to the left. DUHHHHHH!? The slotted couplers that raise and lower the "bat wings" ARE adjustable. I need to lengthen the right slotted coupler and shorten the left one. The total error is about an inch and a quarter + and is no big deal since all three mower sections float in operation. But, some rainy day I will tweak them. Typical new bee problem where the idiot asking did not understand every thing he thought he knew about the problem. Sorry about that!
