Welcome to the pack! You've made a good choice. Had my 30 for a few weeks and it's been a great addition to the "toolbox", but made a few obsolete. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Got mine really muddy the other day. Had a fork load of new, green fence posts and buried the front in a hole that I'd been through twice before. Who says three times a charm? Unfortunately had to dump the load to get it out, but it made it out unassisted, though unloaded. Sorry, no pics as I was on the back "forty" and was a little humbled.
Nice looking tractor, dog and setting. Happy tractorin'.

I hate to be a contrarian here, /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif But, It looks more like pasture pooh on that wheel than dirt. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Until we see an accompanying project, your machine will retain its virgin status. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Only KIDDING, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Congratulations and welcome to the pack. I have the CK30HST and love it. We would love some action shots! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If you look in the Kioti photo section you'll see pictures of the grill guard.

Pipe Welder: Unfortunately the tractor's in PA and I'm not. But I'll take a loader-up grill guard picture and post it ASAP, possibly by the first of the week. If you can fabricate or even just weld (and I'm guessing you can) then it looks like a simple thing to make. Not for me of course, which is why I had to buy one.

Everyone else: Thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry for no action photos but I couldn't convince Katy to try the Kioti or operate the camera, the little prima donna. She considers herself somewhat of a fetching specialist.

No major projects in the near future, just piddling stuff of the sort we used to do (very slowly) by hand, like replacing the pond outlet pipe, putting in a couple new leach lines, leveling a few dirt piles, etc. I suppose the first real work will be leveling of a spot to build a pole barn to house the new toy. I really do want to have an excuse to use (learn to use!) the backhoe. -WSJ

WSJ,

If you would fill in a little bit on your profile it would be greatly appreciated. At least where you hale from.

I was amazed when I saw the photo of oyur tractor next to the pond. It immediately calmed me. Where was the photo taken? Such such beautiful country in that photo. It was jsut sahll we say "picturesque"

Profile now filled in.

rox:

The photo was taken at our family place in northwestern Pennsylvania. We've got about 88 acres and an old house at the end of a half mile dirt lane. It's mostly mature woods, with about 12 acres of too-old Christmas trees and about 5 acres of field/yard we mow a lot. Officially we use it as a weekend place and hunting camp; in reality it's where we go to practice our plumbing and wiring and siding and roofing and guttering and painting and wood cutting skills.

Naturally I posed the new tractor to its best advantage, where you can't see all the not-quite-finished projects.

Pipe Welder:

I'll be visiting the tractor this weekend and will post a grill guard photo next Monday if you're still interested.
