Another new guy from Texas

Hey all!
I just got a new JD 5055d a few weeks ago(first timer) and found this site trying to do some research. What a tremendous wealth of intellect, ingenuity and craftsmanship you have here:thumbsup:. I am constantly being blown away at the projects you guys create and modify. I only wish I had the time and resources to follow in your footsteps.

After reading several threads here I have made a giant wish list as far as mods and implements go. Right now, I only have the factory 512 loader and a TreeToad tree spade that I picked up before getting the tractor. I hope to get more as money allows.

I have a small 50 acre farm that I am just getting started on in North East Dallas. I look forward to reading more of your amazing modifications.

Thank you for the welcome. It depends on where you draw the line delineating Dallas

. I live about 1 hour Northeast of Dallas, 30 min northeast of Melissa. I figured northeast Texas was too generic and more people would know whereabouts Dallas was. The way the metroplex is encroaching out this way it wont be long before we are called a suburb. Just getting a head start
