Photo442.jpgWell after having purchased my MS362, and found out it was a little underpowered, i decided to buy something with a little more power. So here it is a brand new MS441.

nice! Did you put the lines on the caps--I like that idea for aid in lining up when re-installing.

Actually it's a 16 inch bar, will move up to an 18 inch later. Btw had to get all my safety gear changed, boots, chaps, helmet, etc ... can't operate a Stihl saw with Husky safety gear:laughing:

Nice saw. Also a lot of people don't know it but in a Stihl saw you are supposed to run mid grade gas.

Yeah that would be an insult to Husky wouldn't it? 16" bar gee that would be like dropping a 454 Chevy motor into an old Vega body... WOo hooo!

I have a MS441. Great saw, very smooth, with a wide torque band.

So is it an M-tronic model? (No carb adj. screws on that one).

It's not an M-Tronic model, i didn't want that, I had lots of cold starting troubles with my Autotune models.

I have been a fan of Stihl for some years. They start easy and run well. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours as well.

I have a 441 M-Tronic and run a 28" bar with no problems. I have not had any cold or hot start issues with it at all. As to a 362 being underpowered, they need several tanks through them to break in, then I opened the muffler up and it really came to life enjoy your saws

Since you replace saws every year, it wont be long before all your saws are M-tronic, or Auto tune.

It's coming!
